Meet the Team
We are a new group of Dutch and Dutch-Sudanese people with roots in all parts of Sudan, drawn together for this protest. We are united against the war, standing for peace, democracy and justice in Sudan.

Saffa is an interdisciplinary researcher and archivist. Her work focuses on intangible heritage as a form of knowledge production and identity formation, exploring its function in serving as a counter-archive.

Martine is a climate and health advocate at stichting Climate Tipping Points working on local and international climate policy to stop misleading PR from fossil fuel companies. She also is an organizer and trainer working with different social justice groups and movements.

Abdulaal (25) is an actor, theatre maker and social speaker. Born in Sudan, he has been living in the Netherlands for seven years. He studied theatre in Utrecht and played in various performances and television series such as Buurt Tories, De Mensen Bieb, De Wijksafari, and Caligula. Abdulaal tells stories that connect and inspires others with his personal life story. He is a speaker at Liberation festivals, at Rotary Clubs and involved in projects around diversity and inclusivity. With his work he is committed to young people, refugees and an inclusive society.

Lena Hartog is a freelance organizer, campaigner, author and trainer. She revently published a climate action book and is currently making a documentary around economic transformation.
